Overview
The Cessna 210N Centurion is a six-seat, retractable-gear, turbocharged single-engine land airplane. Its 285 hp Continental TSIO-520-R engine, high-wing cabin, and larger fuel capacity support high-performance personal transport. The retractable landing gear and turbocharged engine give the 210N a substantially different systems workload from the fixed-gear aircraft in this database.
This page covers a 210N turbocharged model basis. Model year, serial range, installed equipment, engine configuration, and current weight records matter. Centurion figures should not be mixed across variants without checking the applicable handbook.
Performance
The source basis lists 165 kt cruise and 900 nm range. These are book figures under the source conditions and power setting. Actual results depend on altitude, mixture, temperature, wind, loading, engine condition, and reserve planning.
The climb references are VX 75 KIAS for angle and VY 95 KIAS for rate. Turbocharged operation makes the relationship between altitude and engine performance especially important. Read the POH charts with the current aircraft weight and conditions. A calculator supports study but does not replace the aircraft manual.
V-speeds
The model basis lists VNE 196 KIAS, VNO 165 KIAS, and VA 123 KIAS at maximum weight. Maneuvering speed changes with weight. The flap limit for this record is VFE 110 KIAS.
The VX, VY, and VA glossary entries explain the terms. The current POH and cockpit markings control.
Weight and balance
The stated useful load of 1,540 lb gives the 210N meaningful payload capacity, but the 90 gal fuel capacity can consume a large part of it. Six seats do not guarantee that six occupants, baggage, and full fuel fit within both weight and center of gravity limits.
Use current empty weight, arms, fuel quantity, occupant weights, and baggage stations in a loading calculation. The weight and balance calculator is for training and reference only.
Training notes
The 210N is a transition aircraft for pilots learning to manage retractable gear, turbocharged engine operation, higher speeds, and a larger cabin. The high-wing view may be familiar to a 172 pilot, but the engine and gear procedures need separate study. Performance planning must include the aircraft's actual loading and the applicable chart.
Variants
The fixed-gear 182T and turbocharged T210N are not interchangeable data sets. Other Centurion model years also vary in engine and systems. Create a separate record when a different POH and meaningful variant facts answer a separate reference query.

The structured values use the Cessna 210N Pilot's Operating Handbook and FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual, with configuration context from FAA Type Certificate Data Sheet 3A21. Confirm the applicable revision, serial range, and aircraft records before using any figure.
